Identity

Webtech Wireless

Webtech Wireless develops and delivers end-to-end technological solutions providing effective, efficient remote management of vehicle fleets. The iconic W speaks of their integrated computing, wireless communications and global positioning systems for sending, receiving and storing info over vast networks, as well individual parts coming together to form a single solution. The directional arrows suggest themes of speed, efficiency, reduction (costs, environmental impact) and enhancement (service & instant communications).

Sudden Technologies

Sudden Technologies is a full-service systems integrator with innovative technology services, solutions & technical expertise. They take pride in providing solutions that take the complexity out of the technology, linking business goals with desired outcomes, and connecting systems via knowledgable and skilled personnel. The brand redesign made way for a new color palette, simplified company name and a bold graphic mark that speaks to strategic partnerships, connections and networking with confidence and stability.

Austeville Properties

Family-owned Austeville Properties has been offering exceptional rental accommodations in Vancouver for over 40 years. This brand refresh highlights the diversity of buildings and neighbourhoods for those requiring flexible living, and Austeville's fine management of commercial space for retail, office and industrial. I was tasked to update their existing logomark to reflect their new modern approach, working with custom watercolor illustrations by New York-based illustrator, Barry Blitt.

Shapray Cramer Fitterman Lamer

Shapray Cramer Fitterman Lamer is a boutique litigation firm that specializes in corporate and commercial conflict resolution and strategic advice. Originally established as a partnership with Howard Shapray and Brad Cramer, the growth brought on with additional lawyers initiated a brand refresh to replace previous print materials and add video and news content. Modern simplicity, professionalism and experience were the key attributes addressed in the crisp typography and clean execution of the brand materials.

Freysmiles Orthodontics

Freysmiles is a successful orthodontic practice led by Drs. Gregg & Scott Frey in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Established in 1979, the refreshed brand identity was initiated by Dr. Scott Frey prior to joining his family practice. Known for their incredible personal care, skilled team, and latest orthodontic technologies, they are also continually active in community fundraisers, charities, scholarships and overall goodwill in the Lehigh Valley and with their many satisfied customers.

Joseph Wu Origami

Joseph Wu is an origami master and paperfolding artist, creating unique and complex art pieces & commercial work professionally for over 40 years. The logo simplifies the basic premise of the Japanese art of origami, where dimensional forms are traditionally folded from a single square sheet of paper. The folded flap at the bottom has a three-fold purpose: to reveal the duality of the sheet (origami paper often has two color sides), to draw out a subtle W shape, and to complete the artist's beard.

Spinsight

Developed at the University of Edinburgh, Spinsight's technologies generate real-time 3D animations of live sports events, automatically tracking player movement & behavior. The logomark delivers a sense of spinning or motion detected by the software through a circular icon that conveys computer sight, flexibility and adaptability to change, all coming together towards a single solution. The brand identity was created to attract investors for purchase, with the target goal effectively reached as anticipated.

Offsetters

This Canadian non-profit organization offers individuals and businesses the opportunity to take positive action in response to the climate change problem. The circular mark illustrates both the shift from dirty to clean as well as the physical removal of greenhouse gas emissions through credible carbon offsetting. The center of the business card itself can also be removed to pass on the message.

Yaaway Media

Yaaway Media was an online video sharing social network based on the non-religious aspects of Jesus. The quote marks in the logomark emphasize an exchange of ideas and communication, and represent the 4 books of the Bible chronicling Jesus' life. The cross in the negative space implies the underlying focus of this dialogue, while the color progression suggests a journey from discovery to acceptance. I developed the brand identity further with various print applications, icons and a website reskin.

Tenth Church

Tenth Church is a community of people from many different cultural, social, and spiritual backgrounds. Serving for over 75 years in Vancouver, a bold modern approach was taken to reflect its inclusive personality. A simple wordmark was designed incorporating a graphic icon with conceptual themes of worship, welcome, transformation, outreach, and the cross.
